Summer School Enrollment

This summer we are offering a six-week, in-person, summer school class for 1st-5th graders, in Oceanside, CA. Any child in grades 1-5 can be enrolled in our summer school program, whether they attend a public/charter/magnet or private school during the academic school year.  Enrollment in our summer school program does not affect your child's regular school enrollment.  

Our Oceanside, CA summer school class focuses on reading and spelling remediation with a credentialed Reading and Literacy Specialist and Orton-Gillingham trained dyslexia expert, Julie Herd, M.Ed, and Orton-Gillingham trained tutor, Matt Herd.  Enrollment priority goes to students with dyslexia/SLD indicators, or an IEP for reading.  Our small-group class will have a maximum of 10 students enrolled, so register today!  Inquire below for details. 

Students enrolled in our summer program will participate in six weeks of intensive Orton-Gillingham literacy instruction, focusing on reading (decoding) and spelling (encoding). A structured literacy approach is the most effective approach for students experiencing difficulties in reading. 

Summer School Tuition: $798 (plus $29 material fee). 
Dates: July 8-August 15 (Monday-Thursday mornings for six weeks).
